These movies show an oblique fault displacing gently dipping layers (on the left) and a horizontal syncline (on the right).  It is an oblique fault because the block across the fault has been moved sideways and up or down relative to the other block.  Both movies spin the block during movement, and then the uplifted block is eroded down.
