These layers are gently dipping. Look at the front and right sides of the block to determine how the green layer would intersect the top face. On your worksheet (L-1), sketch how you think the layers will be expressed on the top face. Don't worry too much about getting this wrong; just start visualizing the layers in three dimensions. Use your hands or hold up a book, your phone, or a piece of paper to approximate the orientation of the layer. Do your sketching in pencil in case you want to change it later.
