• It definitely looks as though we have two types of rock here.

  • One is darker and weathers into small flakes (A).
  • The other is lighter and blocky (B).
  
  

• In order to identify these rocks, and construct an accurate geologic history of the area, we need to look at these rocks very closely, and describe them.
