Shoreline Migration

Click on two cities to find out the ages of sandstone in that location.   Write each age next to the name of the city on your worksheet.  Before clicking on another city, try to predict what the age will be based upon the ages around it.  Do this for all the cities.  Finally, interpret the ages to determine roughly where the shoreline was 540 million years ago and draw the shoreline on your worksheet.

The shoreline that you created is just one of its locations over a span of hundreds of millions of years.
